Our theatres are located in the heart of Melbourne's vibrant city centre, with many pre-theatre and post-show dining options available within walking distance of the theatres. 

Drinks and snacks are available at all of our theatre bars, but if you are after something more substantial, please see below some restaurant options close to the theatres.     


JUNI MELBOURNE
136 Exhibition Street, Melbourne

Located in the heart of Melbourne’s theatre district, JUNI by Michael Lambie is a Southeast Asian Bar and Dining Room offering a bold, flavour-packed menu centred on ‘Fire and Spice,’ featuring a range of shareable dishes. 

Notable options include succulent Chinese roast duck, sizzling half shell scallops, and house made crayfish dumplings. Vegetarians can enjoy a comforting yellow curry with grilled eggplant and crispy tempeh.

Set on Exhibition Street, Antara – the sibling of two-hat restaurant, ARU – is the perfect spot to dine pre-theatre.

Cosy banquettes and bar-style perches offer privacy or a view into the theatre of the open kitchen, where Head Chef Juan Lantadilla Tapia puts together a menu cooked over charcoal or the wood oven.

Start off with Aperitivo at 4.30pm, where an enticing selection of small plates meet cocktails, wines and spritzes at happy hour prices. Linger a bit longer for dinner – we recommend the $69 A Taste of Antara menu – designed to give you a teaser of Antara, just in time before your show.

An extensive wine list and house made cocktails will ease you into the evening.
