This event has been cancelled...

The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that the San Cisco event on Friday 29 October 2021 at Forum Melbourne has now been cancelled.

A message from San Cisco:

TO OUR VICTORIAN FRIENDS. It breaks our hearts to let you know that we have made the decision to cancel our upcoming shows in Frankston, Melbourne, Barwon Heads and Torquay as a result of further uncertainty with COVID border restrictions, quarantine requirements and logistical hurdles that will not allow us to deliver the shows you all deserve in a safe and practical manner.

Rather than reschedule time and time again, we feel it is better if everyone has their money back, catches their breath and joins us again when things seem more certain and safe. We know how long the road has been for some of these shows and we can’t thank you enough for your patience and support whilst we have tried to navigate touring in a COVID climate. We can’t wait to see you again and share these songs with you all, as well as new music!

Set to an upbeat indie-pop groove on the cusp of innocence and heartbreak, this is where San Cisco lives. ‘Awkward’. ‘Too Much Time Together’. ‘About You’. Lovesick calls gone to voicemail and endless pondering of what went wrong.

Between You and Me is the fourth album by the indie trio from Fremantle released in late 2020. It was an album two years and at least one sadly remembered love affair in the making. Featuring leading singles ‘When I Dream’, ‘Skin’, festival anthem ‘Reasons’ and ‘On The Line’, it’s clear that the Hottest 100-heavy record Between You and Me tells a widescreen story of loss and letting go.

After a successful run in their home state of WA, San Cisco are finally ready to bring their new live band, show and production to the rest of Australia for their first national tour since 2019.

Emerging artist Jaguar Jonze will open the evening.
