16 March to 12 April FAQs

What is still open during this time?

Regent Theatre, Comedy Theatre and Forum Melbourne are closed to the public from Monday 16 March-Sunday 12 April.

The Princess Theatre is closed for performances between these same dates but the Princess Theatre Box Office will remain open during this time. Tickets sales for events after Monday 13 April can still be processed via the Box Office or via the Ticketmaster website.

As this is an evolving space, we will update this information accordingly.

The Plaza Ballroom will remain open for private events under 500 capacity. More information can be found at https://plazaballroom.com.au/covid-19-message

Do I get a ticket refund for a cancelled performance?

Tickets for cancelled performances purchased through an authorised outlet will be refunded. You do not need to contact us.

If you booked through Ticketmaster online, over the phone or at a Ticketmaster outlet with a credit card, we will send the refund back to the original credit card you used to purchase the tickets. Please note that once we have processed the refund, it can take some time for your bank to process. The time may vary, depending on your bank. Due to the large number of refunds, it may take some time to process your transaction. We appreciate your understanding during this time.

Please note, only the original credit card holder will receive a refund via the methods outlined above. If you received your ticket(s) any other way, including via “Ticket Forward”, you will need to contact the original credit card holder for your refund.

If purchased your ticket at one of our Ticketmaster outlets using cash or EFTPOS, you’ll need to re-visit your point of purchase with your tickets and the EFTPOS card used to make the booking, if applicable. The outlet staff will help you with your refund.

For tickets purchased using cash, EFTPOS or a credit card that has now expired, our team will contact you directly to discuss the refund process.
